# HOOD Token — Whitepaper v1.0
## The Community Token for the Neighborhood Blockchain Hub

## 1. Vision

HOOD is a community-governed token built for the Neighborhood Blockchain Hub — a decentralized guild for blockchain education, project building, and collective investment in underserved communities.

**The Problem:** Our neighborhoods have been excluded from wealth-building technology. Crypto is dominated by insiders, hackers, and whales. Regular people get scammed, not educated.

**The Solution:** HOOD token rewards community participation — learning, building, helping, voting. No ICO. No presale. No VC bags. Tokens are earned through action, not bought through speculation.

## 3. Token Allocation

```
Total Supply: 100,000,000 HOOD
┌─────────────────────────────────────────────┐
│  Community Rewards    40M  (40%)  ████░░░░  │
│  Liquidity Pool       20M  (20%)  ██░░░░░░  │
│  Team & Advisors      15M  (15%)  ██░░░░░░  │
│  Ecosystem Fund       15M  (15%)  ██░░░░░░  │
│  Airdrop Reserve      10M  (10%)  █░░░░░░░  │
└─────────────────────────────────────────────┘
```

### 3.1 Community Rewards (40M — 40%)
The largest allocation. Tokens earned by community members through:
- Completing education modules (5-50 HOOD per module)
- Attending meetings/workshops (10 HOOD per session)
- Contributing to projects (50-500 HOOD per contribution)
- Referring new members (25 HOOD per active referral)
- Helping other members (community-voted bonuses)
- Creating educational content (100-1000 HOOD)

**Distribution:** Managed by Community Role holders via `rewardCommunityMember()`. All rewards are logged on-chain with a reason string.

### 3.2 Liquidity Pool (20M — 20%)
Reserved for DEX liquidity (Uniswap, etc.) once mainnet launches. Ensures HOOD is tradeable without slippage issues. Managed by multisig.

### 3.3 Team & Advisors (15M — 15%)
Allocated to Blacktech Solutions Corp and future advisors. **2-year vesting schedule** with 6-month cliff. No team tokens can be sold during Phase 1 or Phase 2.

### 3.4 Ecosystem Fund (15M — 15%)
Funds for:
- Developer grants (community members building dApps)
- Partnership integrations (local businesses accepting HOOD)
- Event sponsorship (community meetups, hackathons)
- Infrastructure (IPFS nodes, RPC endpoints, tooling)

**Controlled by DAO vote** — no single person can spend these funds.

### 3.5 Airdrop Reserve (10M — 10%)
Distributed to:
- Early community members (first 100 joiners: 1,000 HOOD each)
- Think Energy team members who join the Hub
- SSBN/BWN network members (existing community token holders get 1:1 migration)
- Local Chicago community outreach participants

## 4. Tokenomics Mechanics

### 4.1 Deflationary Pressure
- **Burn on Transfer:** 0.5% of every transfer burned (configurable by DAO)
- **Max Supply Hard Cap:** 100M — code enforces this, no inflation possible
- **Burned tokens reduce supply permanently** — increasing scarcity

### 4.2 Staking (Phase 2)
- Lock HOOD for 30/90/365 days
- Earn additional HOOD from ecosystem fund
- Longer lock = higher APY
- Staked tokens count double for governance voting weight

### 4.3 Governance
- **1 HOOD = 1 Vote** (after staking bonus)
- **5% Quorum** required for proposals to pass
- **1-day voting period** with 1-week delay before execution
- **2-day timelock** on all passed proposals — prevents rash decisions
- Proposal types: ecosystem fund spending, parameter changes, role grants

### 4.4 Bridge-Ready
- `BRIDGE_ROLE` allows minting HOOD on other chains (Base, Polygon, Arbitrum)
- Total supply stays capped at 100M across all chains
- Bridge mints emit `BridgeMint` events for tracking

## 5. How to Earn HOOD (No Buying Required)

| Action | Reward |
|--------|--------|
| Complete Week 1 education (What is blockchain?) | 5 HOOD |
| Complete Week 2 (Wallets) | 10 HOOD |
| Complete Week 3 (Bitcoin basics) | 10 HOOD |
| Complete Week 4 (Ethereum & smart contracts) | 15 HOOD |
| Complete Week 5 (DeFi) | 20 HOOD |
| Complete Week 6 (Security) | 25 HOOD |
| Complete Week 7 (DAOs) | 30 HOOD |
| Complete Week 8 (Building track) | 50 HOOD |
| Attend a meetup | 10 HOOD |
| Refer an active member | 25 HOOD |
| Build a community project | 50-500 HOOD |
| Create educational content | 100-1000 HOOD |

---

## 6. Token Tiers (Dewey Access Integration)

HOOD token balance determines access level in the Blacktech ecosystem:

| Tokens | Tier | Access |
|--------|------|--------|
| 0+ | 🟢 Public | View public content |
| 10+ | 🔵 Key | Access community channels |
| 50+ | 🟠 Approval | Vote on proposals |
| 100+ | 🔴 Vault | Propose governance actions |
| 250+ | 👑 Master | Community manager eligibility |

---

## 7. Legal Disclaimer

HOOD token is a **utility token** for community governance and rewards. It is NOT:
- A security
- An investment contract
- A promise of financial return
- Financial advice

The Neighborhood Blockchain Hub is an educational guild, not an investment fund. Any pooled funds are controlled by multisig and require community votes. Always consult a licensed attorney for legal compliance as the project scales.

**Not financial advice. Only invest what you can afford to lose.**

## 8. Roadmap Summary
